Ir Prof. Spencer Li is Co-founder & CTO of Smart Business Consultancy, leading O2O CRM company with expertise on ICT, FinTech, Blockchain and Smart City. Ir Prof. Li is a frequent speaker and writer on fintech, blockchain, smart banking and digital payment. Ir Prof. Li is also the advisory board of London Institute of Banking and Finance.
Besides his business and professional venture, Ir Li has served the youth community and was the National President of Junior Chamber International Hong Kong in year 2000. Currently, he served as Member of Chinese Association of Hong Kong & Macao Studies (全國港澳研究會香港特邀委員) specialised on FinTech and ICT for six years, and Member of All China Youth Entrepreneurs Association (全國青年企業家協會委會).
Prof. Ir Li active in ICT, Smart City, and eCommerce industries. He is also the charter president of Innovation and Technology Association, co-founder of Hong Kong Internet & ECommerce Association and was Convenor, Mobility Technology, Smart City Special Interest Group, Hong Kong Computer Society.
As an entrepreneur, Ir Prof. Li has co-founded an eCommerce company which was listed in GEM in Hong Kong in 2002. He was the business development director of Asiapay and CEO of Network Payment System (a listed company in South Africa).
Besides strong in strategic business planning and development, Ir Prof. Li had served in various management posts MNCs like Standard Chartered Bank, PCCW (previously named as Cable & Wireless), Compaq, Wang On Group (1222.HK), etc.
